State Of The Art is a Wirral  based company which has been trading since 1987.

We specialize in Energy Monitoring & Targeting  Products. Our  first customers were Electricity Boards who purchased our Hawk Reporter Electricity Logger software to provide their customers with electricity profiles, Maximum Demand & supply capacity information. After the Boards were privatised  we opened our doors to all customers requiring energy monitoring services, large or small. Our Hawk electricity logger software has sold over 7000 units in the UK, Europe and all around the world, including countries such as China, Russia, Hong Kong, Australia, South America, etc. Our Eco Warrior range of products has sold over 500 units in the UK, Europe and Australia.

Our largest energy user is The Manx Energy Authority who use our Eco Warrior software to monitor the electricity supply to the Isle Of Man (40-60Mwatts). This project uses fibre optics to monitor the longest under sea AC inter-connector in the world which goes from Blackpool in the United Kingdom to Douglas in the Isle Of Man. It paid for itself in one day by spotting a billing error on one half hour.

Our smallest customer is a school using the same software to monitor a wind generator (400watts). Our most prolific customer is Knowsley Council who have made savings so significant the Energy Manager won the Energy Manager of the Year Award in 2004 and The Green Apple Award for Energy Management in 2005 .
